About
Anna Martin Artist
Anna started her career at the Chelsea School of Art where she studied graphic design. Further studies led her to the Parsons School of Design in New York followed by many years working in Madrid in the fields of publishing and advertising. Painting was therefore a natural progression for her. Anna sees herself as an artist who aims to capture the essence of subject matter through suggesting movement and capturing a fleeting moment in time. Her subject matter varies from landscape to figurative and she uses a varied palette according to her location. She runs painting holidays in which she encourages working on location and thus focusing on an immediate response in her art and helping others to achieve this.
Anna has had work collected by people in Spain, USA, Canada and China internationally and also undertakes commissions including portraits.
