I delivered a workshop on capturing Morgantown with vibrant acrylics. The aim was to encourage participants to depict key city landmarks while learning to use color palettes, texture, and their own interpretation of the city.

It was a great success—Using the Monongalia Arts Center, a beautifully restored post office building, as a creative hub added to the inspiration. Plus, having a diverse group of participants brought unique perspectives to the artwork. The response to everyday city landmarks and the expressive use of color was astounding. Many participants were exploring acrylics for the first time, making their artistic achievements even more impressive. The workshop attracted a wide range of attendees, fostering a dynamic and engaging atmosphere at the Centre for the Arts and Culture. Mononghalia Arts Centre.

I am looking forward to my next workshops in Morgantown at the Mononghalia Arts Centre and at the Mononghalia Arts Association in September 2025.
